Why So Many People Feel Empty After “Doing the Work”
And What Actually Brings You Back to Life
For years, I thought healing meant becoming better. I thought it was some kind of elusive goalpost with a magical happy ending.
I meditated. I journaled. I read the books. I went to therapy. I did the shadow work, inner child work, frequency work, and even created vision boards layered with tears, hope, and magazine clippings.
But underneath it all, there was this quiet ache I couldn’t name: Why do I still feel off? Why do I still feel disconnected from myself...even though I’m “doing the work”?
Here’s what I’ve learned, and maybe this lands for you too:
Healing is not the same as present moment radiance.
You can heal and still feel muted. You can be aware and still feel super lost. You can know all the right things, do all of the right things and still forget who the heck you really are. And that’s totally okay.
Because radiance isn’t something you learn.
It’s something you remember.
The Trap of the “Forever Healer” Identity
In spiritual spaces, we’re taught to keep working on ourselves. To keep peeling back the layers of the proverbial onion, to fix, optimize and dare I say, refine.
But that can become a massive trap of BS. You start to see yourself as someone who always needs work and fixing. You’re always evolving and always “almost there.”
Never… enough.
It becomes like a spiritual performance.
You learn how to say the right things on Instagram or curate your affirmations. You polish your pain into something presentable. But inside?
You might miss the days when you laughed without analyzing your triggers. You miss the person who didn’t need a reason to dance. You miss the woman you were before you started trying (oh-so-hard) to be better.
What I Did That Changed Everything (And Spoiler Alert It Didn’t Involve More Healing)
I stopped “working” on myself. And I started remembering. Not the person I was. But the frequency I came from before the world told me what to be.
And then I did something wild. I started listening to what actually made sense. I let go of the rules I had imposed upon myself.
I tuned into pleasure, presence, and power, not performance.
And from that remembrance, I created something I call The Radiance Code.
It’s a 3-day soul activation, not a course, not a masterclass, and not another healing module.
Just three audio transmissions. Six minutes each.
To help you drop back into the radiance that never left you, only got buried. Keep in mind I didn’t make this to “teach” you anything. I made it to wake something up inside you.
Because you don’t need more self-improvement.
You need your groove back.
If You’ve Been Feeling Disconnected, It’s Not Your Fault.
You’ve been fed a narrative that healing is a job. That worth is earned. That peace comes after the breakthrough. But you’re allowed to live now. To be whole now.
To radiate without earning it. You get to light up a room without a backstory.
You get to reclaim the parts of you that aren’t broken or in process, they are just brilliant.
The Radiance Code is open right now. It’s $44. It’s pure frequency. It’s here for the ones who are done waiting and can feel that this will create and manifest a new path forward.

And remember:
You don’t need to fix yourself to shine. You just need to say yes to the part of you that already knows how.

This one hits on something I have definitely been feeling lately. An “off” and kind of a “ok, so now what” type of feeling.
Thanks for the reminder that we are not, never will be and never were meant to be perfect. Except for how we are all imperfectly perfect!
How is starting to remember and doing something wild not "work"?
Sounds very much like what people call shadow work...
