This is a fun manifestation exercise that I thought of recently that uses AI to disprove your beliefs around why (believe) you can’t manifest something and inspires you to focus on people that have manifested what you want & desire.
Step 1: Write Your Intention
Be as specific as possible. Write down what you truly would love to manifest and how you want to feel. Here's an example:
"I intend to publish a self-help book that becomes a New York Times bestseller within six months of its release. I feel creatively fulfilled and my heart is filled with joy.The book will sell over 100,000 copies in its first year and lead to at least 10 paid speaking engagements at major conferences."
Step 2: List Your Doubts and Fears
Write down the main reasons why you think this might not work. Try not to hold back. Remember, it’s a robot, so there’s not judgement.
For example:
1. "I'm not a good enough writer to create a bestseller."
2. "The self-help market is oversaturated; my book won't stand out."
3. "I don't have a large enough platform or following to generate significant sales."
4. "I lack the connections in the publishing industry to make this happen."
Step 3: Ask ChatGPT to Disprove Your Limiting Beliefs
Now, you can use ChatGPT to challenge these beliefs. Here's how you might phrase it:I have the following doubts about becoming a New York Times bestselling author:
1. I'm not a good enough writer to create a bestseller.
2. The self-help market is oversaturated; my book won't stand out.
3. I don't have a large enough platform or following to generate significant sales.
4. I lack the connections in the publishing industry to make this happen.
Can you provide examples of real-life people or fictional characters who have overcome similar doubts and achieved bestseller status, particularly in the self-help genre?
Here's how ChatGPT might respond:
- Real-life example: Brené Brown was an academic researcher with no professional writing experience before her book "Daring Greatly" became a #1 New York Times bestseller.
- Fictional example: In "The Help" by Kathryn Stockett, Skeeter Phelan doubts her writing abilities but goes on to publish a successful and impactful book.
- Real-life example: Mark Manson's "The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck" stood out in a crowded self-help market with its unconventional approach and became a massive bestseller.
- Fictional example: In "Julie & Julia," Julie Powell finds success by bringing a unique angle to the oversaturated cooking blog market.
Get the picture? With this process you are only limited by your lack of specificity and imagination.
Sending you so much love,
Sarah Prout.
XOXO
