Many of us are on a healing path, and it can be extremely challenging to know how to navigate the journey effectively and with self-compassion.
One thing is certain: always see yourself as healed.
Don't (in any way) identify as a sick or broken person. See whatever you are going through as a temporary season. And always utilize the power of your imaginative faculties to visualize your future self as healed, whole and harmonious.
One of the biggest health issues I've been managing over the last couple of years has been experiencing migraines twice a month. My migraines have felt like someone is stabbing me in the side of my head with a blunt axe. I lose three days and have to be in bed. However, I've identified the triggers, how to manage them before they get worse and why this experience is manifesting for me emotionally and spiritually.
Subsequently, I've been experiencing them as lot less.
These mystery migraines have been one of my greatest challenges and also one of my greatest gifts because it's allowed me to become so much more in-tune with my body.
The triggers operate on such a subtle level and it's a wonderful reminder to peel it back to basics and use the following pieces of advice.
4 Ways To Elevate Your Wellbeing:
1. Words have power.
Be mindful with how you speak of your health. The choice of language patterns that you use is like code for the Universe to respond to. Choose your words wisely and remind yourself to engage in more positive and empowering affirmations. Speak what you want into existence.
Affirmation: I am healthy.
2. Nourish your temple.
This might sound obvious, but you are what you eat AND what you think. When you intentionally fuel your body with nourishing meals, adequate water intake, movement and sleep then you are always contributing to your overall wellbeing. If you are avoiding these things, then it will slow down your path of healing.
Affirmation: I am nourished.
3. Trust the journey.
Healing from illness or recalibrating your health can quite often be a process of two steps forwards, one back. And sometimes things can appear to be getting worse before you begin to get better. This is often known as the breakdown before the breakthrough. The key is to trust in the unfolding of your health journey and to trust the timing.
Affirmation: I am Divinely guided.
4. Empower your emotions.
How you feel has everything to do with how you manifest vibrant health. When you are actively processing your emotions instead of sweeping them under the rug, you will see a powerful shift in what materializes into your reality. When I suppress emotions such as anger or stress, the twinges happen in my left temple. It's a sign to cool my jets and take some time for self-care.
