I Almost Quit Everything And This One Thing Is What Brought Me Back
Because sometimes the breakdown is the beginning.
There was a night, in early 2024, when I stood in the kitchen, lights dim, heart cracked wide open, whispering to the Universe that I was done.
Not in a dramatic, storming-out-of-the-room, slamming doors kind of way. It was a lot quieter than that, a tiny whisper perhaps. Nevertheless, a knowing.
It was this heavy, holy-moly exhaustion that wrapped itself around me like a thick blanket of fog.
If you’ve followed me on social media for a while, you would have noticed that I didn’t want to post anything anymore. I didn’t want to write or share. In full transparency, I wanted to disappear.
What I really wanted was someone else to hold it all.
My brand. The book I still had to write because I’d landed an incredible $250k book deal with Harper Collins (spoiler alert: I wrote an incredible book). The kids. The future. It all felt just too heavy to carry.
