Dear Future Self,
As I write this letter, I'm currently at the airport in Long Island about to embark on a new adventure.
I’m filled with hope and excitement for the person you've become. The journey between who I am now and who you are has undoubtedly been filled with many challenges, triumphs, and countless moments of growth. I want you to know how proud I am of you for persevering through it all. Try not to cry please.
Remember the dreams and aspirations we held dear? The intentions that we deeply desired to manifest? I hope you've chased them with unwavering determination. Whether you've achieved them all or found new passions along the way, I trust that you've remained true to your core values and the essence of who you are.
Life (and the Universe) has likely thrown many curveballs your way – it always does. But I know that with each obstacle, you've grown stronger, wiser (hopefully), and more resilient. The hardships you've faced have shaped you Sarah, but they don't define you. Your ability to rise above it and keep moving forward is what truly matters.
I hope you've taken risks, stepped out of your comfort zone, and embraced new experiences. I hope you did it as fearlessly as you could with a heart full of trust and the magic that makes you unique. Life is too short for regrets, and I believe that every chance you've taken – whether it led to success or became a learning opportunity – has added richness to your journey and the lives of people that love you.
Never forget the power of kindness and empathy. I hope you've touched lives, formed deep connections, and made a positive impact on the world around you. Your actions, no matter how small they may seem, have the power to create ripples of change.
Lastly, I hope you've learned to be gentle with yourself. God knows you’ve been too tough on yourself Sarah. Celebrate your achievements, forgive your mistakes, and always remember that you are worthy of love and happiness.
You've come so far, and yet, the best is still to come. Keep dreaming, keep growing, and keep embracing life with open arms and an open heart.
With love and gratitude,
Your Past Self
