Attuning To The Frequency Of Inspired Ideas

Why being open to intuitive "downloads"" is a portal to possibilities

If you're having trouble finding the right inspiration for your life or business, or if you're unsure how to unearth divine ideas or “downloads” from the deepest reaches of the Universe, then this article is intended for you.

Here are 3 ways to manifest inspired ideas…

1. Set the intention to be open to receiving an idea.

This might sound a little basic, but sometimes all you have to do it ASK the Universe to send you an inspired idea or a sign. Perhaps even ask for a dream. Apparently, Paul McCartney received the lyrics for the song Let It Be in a dream.

Meditation is also a powerful way to amplify your intuitive faculties to receive an idea and to help you to trust the process. In your meditation, ask the Universe to align you with the energy of what wants to come through you as a creation.

2. Identify where you usually have your best ideas.

For some weird reason I get my best ideas when I’m in the shower. There’s an energy to water that helps me to feel open to receiving intuitive downloads.

For example, in 2018, I remember when the full idea for the Dear Universe book landed in my consciousness. I felt it in my bones with fire in my belly that it was a life-changing project. At the time, I didn’t realize how successful it would actually become (100,000 copies sold, international translation deals etc).

I just had a knowing that no one had ever written a book where you look up how you are feeling and then connect to the Universe.

Find the place you have you best ideas and spend some time immersed in that environment. Another place I love spending time is the beach or the trees in Sag Harbor (New York).

3. Visualize the outcome of how you will feel (even before the idea lands).

Engage in visualization. Imagine in vivid detail what it will look like when your idea is realized and most importantly, how you will feel. Consider the impact it will have on your life or others', the changes it will bring, and the feelings associated with its achievement.

Sometimes you need to put the energetic cart before the horse and watch what manifests.
